That's the thing about E36s. Yes they needed radiatorwaterpumpthermostathoses every 60k and they went through coil packs and other elements, but they are very maintainable, and the guts of the motor and tranny were pretty solid. I got 235k out of my 93 325i, including 70 DE days and another 60-70 autoX days. I was blessed with a solid interior that didn't blister or fall apart, like many of the early specimens did. The motor didn't pull completely like new, but it was a very happy healthy car when I sold it to that kid that money $hifted it 3 weeks later.

You are making me regret my decision, i should have thought through it...
i should have given it to my brother in law, put a couple of thousands in for him, put it back on the street and it would have still been in the family...

But too late now, it gone

So very true tho... that's why i was able to so easily driven it up to 235... if i didn't get married and stayed single and put more time and money, this car can go another 4 years or 120k miles to 35ok miles easily...

It just need care and attention... the engine is able to pull strong still.

Those car are so easy to work on...
