Looking good! I was told today that my 120d M-sport is built and ready for transport, but I probably won't get it until the first of March.

Looking good.
The blue M sport brake calipers will provide a nice contrast against the grey bodywork of the car. Not so long to wait now although it probably doesn't feel like it! Think I'd order in the grey if I was ordering again.

Congrats. Not long till you get your hands on it now.
I'm liking the grey. If I was to re-order this may have been my colour choice.

Mine is 125i with M pack. It's exactly the same colour as yours, called mineral grey. looks more mature and serious. Perfect for my age and it won't date. Can't wait for my car to be delivered in Oct.

apart from the M sport pack, did you also get blue M sport brakes as well?? Any other additional features you added on?? I am still deciding if I need to add the M brakes to my car before delivery. Are they worth it?

Yep, M Sport Brakes! Didn't really have the chance to try them hard, but i'm planning to!
Even for the looks i'd say it's worth it. Many people complaint about BMW standard brakes. I can't complain at all... it's always been reactive and really efficient. |

I didn't order the M-Sport brakes for our 116i, and was worried that the small brakes would not be up to the task. Fortunately they are. They have proven to work very well for track days. No fading so far, and I always had overheating issues on previous cars.
On a 125i would have gone for the M-Sport brakes, though. |

it's another AU$1000 for the M sport brakes, i am just asking myself do i really need them if i mostly drive on highway and city only, not going on tracks at all? Maybe i just upgrade performance pads when the stock pads are worn out.

We collect our 125 in about 2 weeks. It came on the Tortugas car carrier which according to marinetracker, docked at Wollongong on Fri. As it happens, I flew from Sydney to Canberra last night and it was kind of surreal to know that I flew over our new car

I spec'd my 125i m-sport with the M brakes. I have driven just over 4000k's so far (no track work yet) and in the time have noticed that the up-spec brakes can make the car feel overbraked, if you know what I mean. I put this down to the brake package in the 125 being far more capable than my previous Ford and the difference in car weights - around 1375kg on the 125 vs around 1680kgs on the Ford. Now that I am more used to driving the car and have recalibrated my brain (and foot ;-) ) for the amount of pressure needed when my pace picks up. I agree with earlier comments that they are a worthwhile addition for a 125i. Even at $1000 list as an option, i think they are worth it. I'm looking forward to getting the car to a track day to give them a thorough work out too :-)
