Hello,

I have a problem on my 114i F20 (N13 engine) from 2012. It is tunned stage 1 and converted to E85 flexfuel.

When I start the car, the engine starts to throttle by itself until it stabilizes at idle. I called Shiftech and they told me it could be related to a bad quality of ethanol. When the engine stabilizes at idle, I hear a sort of clicking noise. Also when I drive sometimes I get the "drivetrain malfunction" error.

I changed the spark plugs just before chiptuning, and they're about 30,000km old. I'm thinking more of a clogged fuel filter because of the ethanol, as I've never changed it, or maybe the injectors or the coils.

As for the fuel filter, I have a problem, I can't find any indication about its location or reference on my model.

When I search the Mann filters website with my vehicle information, I find this filter :

I can't find out whether my car has a fuel filter inside or outside the tank, as there seem to be several versions.

Hi, the EU Version has a built in fuel filter at the fuel pump assembly.
