I think he represents Canada well. What is your problem with him? |

Let's see... 1. Raised the taxes on the top bracket which federally only starts at $139K CAD. This makes us have one of the highest tax brackets in world...I think we are in the top three last I read. What is the bloody incentive of me working hard to try to make good money if I'm giving away more than 50% of each extra dollar I earn to a government whom I can't control how they spend my money. 2. He then turned around and arguably lowered rates for the "middle" class, but really all this does is encourage votes for him and them to strive for mediocrity. 3. He has promised yet more money for First Nations. Why? At what point do we stop paying? The money clearly isn't making a difference. So either do something else, or give them the option of living on the reserve with no further help or integrate with society like the rest of us with all the help that the average person gets and they either get off the pot and do something, or they don't. Help them help themselves, stop the handouts. For those that choose to go to university, no more victory laps just because their education is free. 4. He's pandering to Wynne with all this green crap and carbon tax and wanting to get us back on Security Council - all this costs money, where is the money coming from? Certainly not him or the government because the government does not contribute anything to the tax revenue, rather, it's the honest hardworking citizens of this country that he is dipping his hand into their pockets to pursue his pet projects. We aren't even that big of a contributor to the possible global warming - go after China and others if you want a big contributor. Get others down to our level and then we are all on a level playing field. 5. His election promise was around $8B in deficit the first few years, but in his words "the budget will balance itself" and it wouldn't be deficits every year. Now, once he's in power, the first year is expected to be a deficit closer to $30B, and it will never be balanced - he intends to run deficits every year. He is going to destroy us. He has no concept of the real world, hasn't held a real job, is basically a trust fund baby who is making promises everytime he opens his mouth and we are the ones who are going to have to fund those promises. He's a clown and the sooner he is out, the better. He will drive our economy into the ground through this debt he is incurring. |
