Hi all, happy new year.

I have a slight issue with my rear heated screen, part of it heats up, the area that the screen wiper covers but outside of that it doesn’t work. I’ve looked at it and tried repairing it but tbh there isn’t anything obvious as a gap in the circuit. I wondered if the screen is divided into 2 circuits and wondered if anyone else had experienced similar issues.

It's all right. Mine works the same (I believe) and I never expected the whole screen defrosting.

Why? The cleanable area is supposed to be the essential one. That's the whole thing. I use the heater mostly to make sure the wiper slides nicely, so there's a tiny chance I might overlook it defrosting outside the area but I am very sure it doesn't (and never did). I'll double-check it tomorrow.

this is normal.. only wiper aerea ist heated.. "lines" outside wiper aerea are antennas and no heatingwires
