Advice for my Bachelor Party

Hey guys...

My bachelor party is next week in Vegas. I have been to Vegas about 15 times, many of those times for Bachelor parties. We have a group of 18 guys with us. In my opininion, it is VERY difficult to do more than 2 nights in Vegas without being "near death". This trip...we are doing FOUR NIGHTS!!! We get in thursday night, we leave first thing Monday morning.

I drink my fair share, but I'm not a HUGE drinker. With my buddies though, they'll likely have me hammered all night and possibly during the day also.

How do I survive this fatigue wise??? I'll be fine Thursday, I'll be fine Friday...Saturday and Sunday...what will be left in the tank?

Anybody have any good strategic advice???

Drink three sodas for each hard drink? Let your buddies drink themselves to oblivion.

Congratulations, too.

To help with the hangover... drink your drinks with water (ie. Canadian Club & water) rather then soda/coke/sprite/etc. The soda will dehydrate you, which is a cause of the dreaded hangover.
Also drink a few glasses of water prior to heading out each night, and when you get home (if your can remember).

My buddies and I just came back from a 4 day Bachelor Party in Vegas too...
Good Times~!! We just drank Grey Goose and Red bull the whole weekend cuz we were so tired. Although the burn out is horrible, Red bull vodka will help you stay up, even with 4 hrs of sleep every night. We even played 2 rounds of golf.

ONE DOPE ADVISE: LET THE GIRLS KNOW ITS YOUR BACHELOR PARTY. You'll be a chick magnet this weekend. And if you don't roll like that, DO IT FOR YOUR FRIENDS!!!

Have fun and Congrats~!!

I would try not mixing alcohol with sugar flavoried drinks such as coke or red bull so you can avoid those bad hangovers. I would stick to something like tonic and you should be ok. Get some bottle waters and aspirin for the next morning if you intend to do some heavy drinking.

Have fun at your bachelor party

drink TONS of water before you knock out...dehydration will give u a major hang over - don't mix drinks - if u start with beer stick with beer same goes with liquor or wine

most importantly ... HAVE FUN - CONGRATS DUDE

eating prior to, drinking plenty of water, esp. before bed (8 glasses) are some good tips.

Oh yeah, and don't do anything crazy on camera, it may come back to haunt you. Also, don't do anything that can't be undone... i.e. don't cross the line..

F the H2O its good but you can do a lot better. drink a large bottle of gatorade before you start drinking, then when you are finished partying drink another large bottle before you go to bed. trust me on this one it really works better than water. by the way just got back from a week in vegas and i truely love that place.

Ya pretty much anything that rehydrates and has electrolytes. Never tried it before tho, how's the taste? It looks like its pretty nasty based on the website and based on the fact its for kids who are given no choice. But the half pint bottles are "fun to hold"(website) so its worth a shot. Also you're going to be so damn exhausted, but I'm sure it'll be tons of fun. Just make sure what happens in Vegas stays there, by any means necessary.

"Sodium is an electrolyte, which aids in the absorption of liquid into the body and helps to retain the liquid absorbed."

there's a chart on the website that shows comparisons...it's gatorade's 20 mEq/L of sodium vs pedialyte's 45..

never really tried it...only knew about it after reading it in men's health...but if it don't taste right, you can always try the freezer pops
