Best Gas Cards

hey guys, with the economy the way it is was wondering if there are any gas cards that is worthy of signing up with? i had a discover card a while back and it had 5% return now its decreased to 3%.... any advice or positive feedback would be great... thanks in advance. i reside in SoCal if that makes a difference...

I also have a discover card but it sucks now since they decreased the % you get back. Plus I think they limited the 3% cash back to the first $250 you spend. Anything after that, you get 1%

Depending on how much you charge a year, the American Express Blue Cash card may suit you. Everything you charge you get 1% cash back, but once you reach $6,500 in charges then you earn up to 5% cash back at supermarkets, gas stations and drugstores, plus up to 1.25% cash back for all other eligible purchases.

I use my Shell MC Card. I get 5% cash back for Shell transactions

Not sure if they still have it, but I have a AAA Visa issued by MBNA/Bank of America which gives 5% instant cash rebate on gas purchases. They also have a points system which accumulates for AAA vouchers which you can use at AAA cert. repair shops..good for oil changes and stuff. Other than that, Amex blue is the way to go.
