Install angel eyes on halogen F20 - possible?
Guys, any of you ever installed angel eyes (LED) on a halogen F20?
I have a F20 116i, and altough I plan to upgrade for bixenon in the future, I have hurry for LED angel eyes. Can it be done? If so, how? Thanks a lot |

I have not seen anyone on here that has done it, probably due to the wide range of temperatures and kit's available with none that I have seen looking as good as OEM.
Avoiding error messages from the car will probably involve recoding and if you plan a full BI-Xenon conversion expect to pay a lot of money as lot's of additional kit may be needed depending on your local motoring regulations. In the UK for instance, that means auto levelling and a headlight wash system at least that can mean a front bumper replacement at £££'s.

Yes, I saw that too.
Just the new lights (bixenon/LED) costs around 2,5k USD. But you also have to change the many other things (auto leveling, replace the switches on the left of the steering, the washers etc). But I was talking just about the angel eyes. Cant you just buy the LED "rings" and just install in the car? Or this isn't possible? |

Probably not as the light housing won't have the fittings to take the halos or run the connection cables properly.
