Original m135i rims with runflats not compatible with other non runflats??

Hi i have an 2013 m135i with runflat tires on the original rims.
I was been told that you could not fit non runflat tires on the original rims.
Is this true?
When the runflats are weared of i want to try normal tires to feel the difference between them.

Yes you can refit proper tyres. And well worth doing IMO.

I recently switched to non-run flats. The EU ratings for fuel / wet performance / noise are far greater for non-run flats plus they're cheaper so...

I was worried but BMW themselves said it's all down to personal choice... just be prepared should you get a puncture

Thanks, this is good news that i dont need to buy other rims, would be kinda stupid imo.
I come prepared dont worry
I know a person that makes costum emergency wheels for the m135i and other cars.
A normal bmw 135/17 emergency wheel doesnt fit due the large blue brake calipers.
At least here in belgium.
A 205/40/17 is just to big to put away.
It still annoys me that you dont have a emergency wheel at the back.
The only two options you get here when ordering a new car is runflats or normal tires with a repair kit.
runflats are not bad and have even more comfort on my m135i then i had in my leon cupra 310 with normal tires.
And the repair kit doesnt really 'put me on ease'
