Was techno on a decline so they renamed it dubstep to try to make it relevant again?

If not, what is the difference between the two? I may have been out of the loop for awhile.

Not even close ....Dubstep has nothing to do with Techno. Totally different vibes and totally different crowd. This old short video clip documentary by Mary Anne Hobbs may give you a better idea.

Going to see Nero on the 30th, kinda liking his stuff but wanted to see what you guys recommended out of his songs. Excited to go see him as I just missed Skrillex in M. Beach!

Oh well, can't wait for this dubstep concert!
