posted in the other forum about this, but I think one explanation for this is the mazda was high beaming the guy. Like you all said, he wasn't being tail gated but I know alot of people who high beam to say "hi" etc, and that crap pisses some people off myself included

if you listen to the bmw guy's comment about passing him on the side..think about "flash to pass"
