Hi,

Can anyone recommend o share their experiences of any tuning box for the 116d. Mine would be a company so need something that can be removed for servicing times etc.

Thanks in advance.

I had a DRUK red on my 325d and it was quite good. However the really new stuff from them not only controls the fuel pressure but also the boost.

Good kit and good people to talk with.

Hope this helps.

Why would you want to remove it for servicing?

Well I am not planning on asking my employer or the lease company if I fit the box, so do not want it to be flagged up by the garage when they come to service the car.

Also just incase anything goes wrong with the car do not want them to claim I have invalidated the warranty.

You're happy to run around with their insurance cover invalidated though? Apart from that modern cars with CANBUS wiring systems record pretty much everything the sensors report. Box or no box, things like increased boost pressure etc could be flagged up at service time.
