M stickers on 1 series sidefender

Hi guys,

thanks for such awesome posts on this forum!

I would like to ask your opinion on putting these kind of M stickers on the sidefenders on my AW 1 series M-sport? Thought it would look kind of cool and not cheesy? I don't wanna do this to my car so that it might look more like an M135 or M-car.

Saw it on the new 3 series GT with M-sport and liked it a lot. What do you think of it?

Personally, I like it a lot. Some might say it's diluting the M brand and cheap wannabe stuff, but I don't agree. When it enhances your ownership experience, it's the best few dollars spent ever!

Not for me. If I bought a non M car with that on it I'd take them off. I have a rule about never adding any badges to a car no matter what it is.

It looks like a bit of a copy of what Audi now do with the S Line badges and VW with the R Line badges that they had on passats.

There are lots of ///M badges on our M-Sport 116i from the factory. One more would not hurt.

I know. I don't particularly like seeing them on the steering wheel, gear knob, sills and wheels. Fortunately the ones on the wheels are very subtle and the only ones on the exterior but to be honest I wish there were none on the car.

Some might ask why I bought an M Sport model. Well I do prefer the body kit, thicker wheel, sports seats etc plus the car I have is only available as M Sport.

At the end of the day the Op should just do whatever he wants to his own car.

I like my M Sport baseball cap to complete the look.

Guys, At the end of the day, it's just a badge.
It is matter of personel opinion, so if it makes you happy, do it

I only laugh when a car is modified beyond that point with big bolt on crap or stupid paint jobs
