I found some info by googling. Seems like digit 11 in the VIN indicates the production plant. "V" means Leipzig, while Regensburg can be "E", "J" or "P".
Mine has an "E", so it is made in Regensburg. |

Regensburg is the primary factory for the F20. If i recall correctly only the f21 might be produced in Leipzig. My F21 still comes from Regensburg though...

Just incidentally: "Is there a way to tell if an F20 is built in Leipzig or Regensburg?".
At 9:57 Estoril Blue can be spotted next (but one) to Lone Bitch Blue if anyone cares. |

They are using the wrong (as in not our) robots at 4:30. They have the good kind (as in ours) elsewhere in the factory, painting the i3. :-)
