F21 116i M Sport automatic (tuning)

Hello everybody,

I ordered a month ago my 116i with the M Sport Pack and automatic gearbox, 18 inches wheels and the m brakes. There are many other extras but is not important. I want to know where and how can I tune my car safely without changing parts of the engine and by not loosing the guarantee. Which will be the price of this procedure... I read at the BMW M accessories that there is tuning but only for the bigger engines. I look forward for your responses.

Thanks,
George

Now to the question. Your safest bet is to go with AC Schnitzer conversion, as they provide a guarantee and also the ACS dealer in Greece is also the largest BMW dealer in Greece (BMW Spanos). The only downside is the price, which is 2.500 Euro. However, it is the most powerful conversion, with 200 bhp. The other alternative, that also offers some warranty is the Hartge soloution, at 170bhp and around 1.500 Euro.

I have it on authority that SuperChips are working on some for this engine. It will be available very soon.
Might be worth hanging on for.

The question is , what's the effect on the performance when 91-92RON fuel is used.

Only ACS can answer that (ACS UK right here from time to time, maybe they will answer this), but my guess is that the performance is not the same. But why use 92RON fuel?

Cause the 91-92 US RON fuel is what we call in Europe 95 octane regular fuel.

If the acs works only with super unleaded , it could be an issue... (Cost wise)

So , whats the effect of "regular" fuel to acs? Is it going down by 10hp , 20hp, 50hp????
