Seriously, I would suggest you didn't fix it. If you are sure you did then yes, try to code it off (to make sure you are wrong ). Disconnecting the battery for half-an-hour should be a waste of your life time, but you can try to prove me wrong too.

Yes, I do (not well enough to tell from the picture). But I wanted to know if this was something that is likely to happen on the engine I have now or not. I have seen it before on the N13, but not on the B38.

Some system faults will go away by themselves after a number of starts with no issue. I don't know if this is one of them.

My engine is N13, 118i F20, and I found that I must use software tool to clear the engine alert, that’s much easier without touching other parts of th car. Thanks for your help.
