Well, I don't feel that way. I drive 100% highway and it's a straight highway. One can argue that things like overall traction also affect things like braking distance as well, and I would completely agree. I'm not looking to cheap out at all (I would never purchase some no name tire just for cost). Just prioritizing excellent wear characteristics and comfort, that's all.

DWS are an excellent tyre but are overkill for both the car and the weather, he just needs something quiet.
