Corvettes at Carlisle 2016 pics

Went with my friend & neither of us brought our Vettes.

He brought wheels & his old blower to sell to a couple guys. I didn't want to pay $70 or whatever it was to have my car parked in a field for a couple hours. It's nothing special.

My father and I go every year. Unfortunately this year we went sunday, and it was hot as nuts and half the show left by noon.

The new GS is amazing looking. Kerbeck had a white one, no stripes. I like that chevy has caught on to porsche style optioning.

We took my fathers 09 z51/m6 ... the car is well kept and has only 25,000 miles on it, but there are some things that annoy me about that car that go away with the right foot, and come right back afterwards. My dad is going into "maybe my last corvette" mode (he's almost 70 and cheated death more that once...) and seriously looking t a GS, esp since they are priced right where a z51 with a few worthless options.

It's a Z06 without the power. Same thing GM did w/the C6.
