iDrive giving me grief :-(

Hi all. I have set the iDrive to 'sports dials' however, annoyingly the 'vehicle information' screen pops up every now and then and stays there until i select 'sports dials' again. Is there a setting that stops it doing that? I just want it to stay set to what i want.

I've searched about and can't find very much info.

Thanks

I believe that you have to have it the manual side (sport) for it to stay. If you select it in Sport it will only stay whilst you use the paddles, it will move back when the auto goes back to auto shift if you have not selected another gear.
