How to change interior globes with LEDs

I would like to put LED globes in the interior of the F20. I've had a flat (plastic) screwdriver making some progress on the dome light but I don't want to push too hard and break it.

If someone has already done this to their car, I sure would like to discuss the matter and understand the method of getting each globe assembly out of the car intact.

Garage List
Hi, I have just completed this with my 2013 116d, the globes are tight to remove.
I used a simple rigid plastic interior tool set I purchased from eBay for less than £10 gbp.
I did get them removed by using two tools at a time but there was minor damage to a couple of tabs during the process.
Even so the job is done and the led replacements look much better than the stock bulbs.
