Holiday Discussion Time! Travel, Wishlists, Food: Get in here

Now that we are past Turkey Day here in the good Ol' US of A, we can start thinking about the December Holidays. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and all the rest. It doesn't matter what you celebrate, in fact the more variety the better

What are you plans this year (Home with the family, Travel to the inlaws, vacation someplace warm...) ?

Who's cooking?

What's on your wishlist this year?

Who needs ideas on what to get their wife or girlfriend? Post it here and we'll give suggestions
(thanks @squishy for the idea)

Let's hear it!

She wears the same Michael Kors watch like everyday, so I'm getting her a new one. Lol

What are you all getting your gf's?

I'm getting my wife a sewing machine, bitches love sewing machines.

But seriously, she's huge into crafting and making her own stuff. She's wanted one for a while but couldn't get one. I got her one of the computerized ones with the USB port so she can download embroidery patterns and stuff and use them.

My family seriously has WAY more stuff than we need, and I am strongly temped to buy a cow/pig/goat/chickens from heifer.com

I think we are going up to the cabin in the mountains for the week between Christmas and NYE. ATVs in the snow are just so much more fun than in the dirt, especially if you are the tail rider watching to make sure the son is driving in control. My niece and her husband already told me we were going . . .

You know, bonding and creating those memories is so much better than and will last so much longer than any material gift will.

I still regale my friends with stories of winter breaks, sawing down evergreen trees, hilarious decorations, awesome Christmas trips.

Man, do that if you can.wife, kids, whoever, you don't know what they'll hold on to and cherish in decades to come.

I don't know what to get my wife yet. She just gave birth to a baby girl 2 months ago. Maybe I can pass that off as an early christmas present.

I'm flying up to Michigan to spend time with my family and go see a bunch of old friends I haven't in years. Hopefully there'll be snow so we can take out the sleds and tear up the streets. Will most likely be drunk for a solid week straight.

Don't have a GF anymore, so I am going to buy myself a gift instead, wrap it, and put it under the tree, and act surprised when I open it.

I do however, need to shop for the rest of my family when I land in town so I'm not trying to travel with gifts. Forget all that noise.

Slow trip to Orlando to spend Christmas with my family at my sister's place. First stop is the Gaylord in Nashville, which has a cool looking ice sculpture show. Next stop is Atlanta where we'll be staying right next to the Botanical Gardens, which are supposed to be nicely lit up for the holidays. Then on to St Augustine for 3 nights, then to Orlando by Christmas Eve. Three days there and then the reverse trip back home. Again, stopping in Atlanta and Nashville.

When we open presents at my seesters I have gotten her Tiffany earrings and a Michael Kors watch (this is what she wanted) She has a Movado but does she wear it? Noooooooo..

Several girls I know love Michael Kors watches. I don't see the appeal. Maybe it is the brand name they are in love with?
