OEM tyres on F20

Unsure what the range of OEM tyres are for the F20 and whether everyone is happy with them.

Disturbing thread on performance of Goodyear Excellence tyres on the F07 forum and wondered if there is a similar trend with uneven wear on the F20 with any particular OEM brand?

I am very likely to swap the OEM for Pirelli PZeroes I run on all my other cars unless advised otherwise.

I know that they have been delivered with Bridgestone, Hankook, Continental, Pirelli and Michelin so far. I have not seen other brands. Conti and Michelin mostly for the 16"s and/or non RFTs. I got my 17" M wheels with 2012 Bridgestone RFTs.

Bridgestone RFT. No complaints, but only 4000km on the meter.

You can add Dunlop to 1thomas' list. I've seen then mounted on 17" 383M wheel. The car was just delivered at the local dealership.

Bridgestone Potenzas S001 RFT for Sport line

My F20 Sport line has also been delivered with Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT tyres.

Was considering swapping them for Pirelli PZeroes I am running on my other cars but have decided I like The Potenzas enough as my 2nd preference to stay with them. Would have swapped Dunlops, Goodyear or Continental in a snap! ( just personal preference based on my experience, no offence meant)

Evidently the Bridgestone Potenza S001 are the latest 3rd generation Rft
http://www.bridgestone.com/corporate...011030102.html

Some good reviews of this 3rd generation RFT here
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Br...tenza-S001.htm

Will update on experience here at reasonable intervals.

In Greece, most cars with 16'' come with Goodyear EffecientGrip and Pirelli P7. With the 17'' most come with Bridgestone Potenza (R50 I think).

Collected winter wheels today - all nicely labelled "left" or "right" Goodyear M&S (ie NOT winter) but they're actually winter Bllizzak.

How come the BMW sticker says you have 205/55/R16 91H but the sidewall states 205/60/R16 92H? Have BMW supplied different sizes for the front and rear?

I've asked - unfortunately didn't notice when I collected; only when putting them away in the garage

I think you have received F30 tires. They use 205/60-16. The sticker says "BMW 3" as well.
205/55-16 would be the right size for an F20.

VERY impressed with the Conti RFT's on my 18"

Way better than the older Bridgestone RFT 17" on my previous E90 320i

I had a full set of Michelin Sport Pilot 3's (non-runflat) on my 18" Golf rims, and i can highly recommend them, excellent traction in the wet and dry and i found them to be predictable near to the limit. One downside tho, terrible in the snow/ice
