anybody using a new ipod nano with lightning connector?
On advanced bluetooth. Just want to confirm it works by plugging in the cable to the usb port as you would previous ipods.
Just discovered my very old ipod nano doesn't work on the latest cars, so need to upgrade but don't want to buy an ipod that is too new to be compatible! Thanks As a heads up to the guys using the Y cable, it wont fit a new lightning port model, and I don't think there is a new Y cable with lightning port out yet. So be careful when replacing your ipod! |

I also believe you can just use one of the official apple 30pin to lightning converters and use that with the y-cable. I bought a cheap y-cable and i had issues, but theres a few on here that say it works fine, and i presume that have the official BMW lead.

Btw, this is with my current E87, but I don't expect this to change when I get my F20 in 16 days. |
