This is the same with all newer BMWs, and lots of hacker types have tried to get around it. No luck so far. |

Either way its a bloody nice (and local it seems) car with great mods, which would be pushing some impressive figures too. |

In case someone wants to mod.....
This is just rumor, but Epic Motorsport in America has said they will have something June or July. On a ECU reflash M135i will give out 400 hp or 450 hp or so. I was told, and I guess enough people are hopefuls. (now that they have the M235i to play with)
This is not a rumor, the factory retrofit of the LSD for M135i here in Taiwan is 5350 USD just FYI, I hope it includes installation (not specifically shown on the quote.) -------------------------------- I do not understand why this time it is so difficult to break into BMW, especially when everyone thinks/hopes the cars have so much more potential. I mean compare to the Japanese cars the AE86/Nissan anything/Subaru anything, well everyone knows about the availability of their mod. parts. I was wondering is it because of their fancy engine timing has grown so complicated that BMW truly doesn't want anyone to play with it? Or is it because the fancy new computers they are using codes it differently or different bits. Just droning and wondering.... |

I estimate the power to be 40hp over the Oem turbo with stock like spool. What the upgraded billet wheel in the pure stage one will give is a wider power band with the ability to hold high boost levels into the upper rpm range !! Going to be an

From Epic !
Hi Chris, We are currently working on the ability to flash the ECU via OBD so we do not need customers to have to send the ECU in. That is especially important for international markets. It is still a couple months out so if you would like you can check back later. Randy Mueller |

Yup Randy's the guy I talked to as well. Hopefully they succeed.
I hope Alpina would come out with a "B1S," not that I would replace the BMW badge with theirs though XD |
