Why don't you put your phone down and drive your car properly before you end up in a ditch as well. With a hateful attitude like this, you aren't going to make it very far in this world.

lol, thank you.

To be honest, I hope no one on this thread was too offended by the OP. Most times, some people refuse to accept responsibility for the choices they make, then get angry with an external factor (like a cop for example) when they have to face the consequences of their own choices.

The OP will mature over time (hopefully), and learn that celebrating someone else's misfortunes, no matter if they happen to be on a different side of the fence than him, is just not a healthy expression... ESPECIALLY if it would be a huge negative if the shoe happened to be on the other foot.

On the other hand, things are looking promising at the moment if I continue with the hiring process. Having a decent paying job to start a new career located in an area that has nice wide shiny lanes of smooth roads and sunny weather most of the year and the dollar seems to go further there, as opposed to my current residence is a great way to start a new chapter in life for a motorcycle/car enthusiast like myself when I retire in a few more years!

If I do become law enforcement, I promise to go easy on any fellow car enthusiasts, as long as there is a mutual respect during the dialog, instead of the seemingly self entitled and oblivious person who feels as though they are above any or us or all of us.

You are correct as I was just busting Samurai's chops. The local police in Dade County don't bother for exhaust, tints, lights, missing body panels, etc... Heck I've seen local police pass cars at night with no lights and they don't even do anything. However, I did get harassed by the local police about two months ago:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1372067

As for the state troopers, I rarely see them on local roads as they are mainly on the highways. Those are the ones after for speeders, local police, not so much.

Exactly!

I am extremely serious about perusing some sort of LEO profession in the south east of USA when I hang up my current uniform in a few years.

But as a guy who had been in countless positions of authority for a very long time, I know for a fact I wouldn't make too much of a fuss over small infractions like questionable mods to vehicles... I'm sure if I focus on the task at hand, I can more than meet my mission by extracting discipline on those that actually endanger others with poor decisions like distracted driving and lack of signal lights until I meet the requirements to get picked up for a more specialized division of law enforcement.

Then I can answer my true calling. Bringing justice to selfish monsters of the world that cause negative effects on entire cultures.

Nice!! Awesome find.

Thanks for the heads up.

I remember I was teasing about coming down to FL if you got me a job at your former place of employment because of all the... inspiration... you shared with is from that place.

Amazing how things turn out sometimes.

I will PM you when I take days to come out for testing and such. I will make small vacations out of the processes. First round is definitely on me, my man.

It's not about race or creed, but the fact that you want to drive like a cum stain on the turnpike and put others at risk. If you want to drive spiritedly, as most of us do, you assume the additional risk of getting a ticket. Be a normal collected person and you wont have negative experiences when you receive said ticket.

How many alarms have you set off requiring police assistance? I've had to call in the past and they were always quick and polite.

They're doing this in Royal Oak also where Michigan hosts the Woodward Dream Cruise every year. A lot of enthusiasts on our FB board have gotten loud exhaust tickets over the weeks before the annual cruise in event.

You weren't supposed to say that out loud, he would have never picked that up if you didn't say anything.

Yes, but OP is such a racist douchenozzle (which is funny, since he isn't white, and we ALL know that you can't be a racist unless you're white) that I wanted to hit him over the head with it.

Just to make sure he got the picture.
