Honestly, after looking into this I think its just a lie. Instagram changed their logic last year (May'ish) from everything to what they think you like. I haven't found any articles saying they have changed it recently. I think its people freaking out they aren't getting enough likes. I have my photography page (@isinghstudio) and I've been trending positive in terms of likes. Maybe these pages need to adjust to their market audience.

Imagine that IG, FB and Twitter would shut down for a week or two...what would you do? Remembering that texting, phoning or real visiting would be also an option? Skip all "friends" because of recognizing that they're almost virtual and couldnt stand the comparison with reality?
Wait! Twitter offline would be never happen, otherwise the weirdo into the Oval Office couldnt abuse his opponents or post other kind of bullsh*t

IG use to be fun before all the algorithm changes to be more FB like. Made a lot of great friends and connections on it, but if your end game is to get a huge following for sponsorships, fame, monetizing your following then you're better off getting a sexy change and posting workout booty shots like Sommeray

Tried a few engagement groups last year but I was contributing more to them then they were to me. Once it becomes a second job instead of a social network it's not fun anymore, I only stay engaged IG now to talk to friends I've made and keep sponsors happy.
