Bimmercode shows incorrect head unit?!

I recently purchased the Bimmercode app. When connected to my 2015 BMW 116i it has identified the head unit as a CIC. This is incorrect as it is a NBT with the 6 pin cable. Does anyone know how to correct this?

It is CIC but the cable is the 6pin LVDs. The head unit is a Champ 2 on mine which has BMW Professional Radio (with DAB & BT) - no sat nav.

I know this because i swapped the screen for a 10.25" Android unit which was labelled as NBT.

You can tell if it is CIC or NBT from the menus - CIC menus have a red border, NBT have shading as well.

There is a website that shows all the various types:-
