Where to hardwire my dashcam

I have purchased this dashcam https://www.lukashd.co.uk/LUKAS_LK_9750%20Duo_Pro.php and installed it almost completely now. I am struggling to think of where to hard wire it to. From my readings the car hibernates after about 15 minutes turning off power to sockets. Which would be the best way to get this hard wired as I want it recording as it is parked up also.

Thanks in advance

I think the easiest way would be to use a battery bank that charges when the ignition is on, and powers the camera when the ignition is off.

Thanks for that suggestion but I don't really want to go down that route. I'd rather hardwire it to a constant live if i knew where one was.

You could try the installation instruction for the BMW Advanced security cam. It hardwires to the car battery.

Can you make some pics in installing it? Curious to see if it easy fits in.

Thanks for that suggestion, I just bought some twin 0.75mm cable in the prospect of going straight to the battery. Weather permitting tomorrow, I'll have it all in place. All the camera cables for fron and back are in place it's just these final conections to do.

All fitted and completely hard wired directly to the battery in the boot for the constant live and earth. I took the switch wire from the 12v socket under the front panel. All cables hidden behind all the panels etc on the passenger side. Even the DAB radio is working fine with it connected as I have read some stories where the instalation ruins the DAB signal. I'll put some pictures up as soon as I can. It was a real fiddle to do but worth it to do it right and get 24/7 protection.

Did you also install a Battery Guard like the LK-290? If not you will likely find your car drained from power one day...

I didn't need to as the LK-9750 has the battery guard fitted inside the camera. It is accessed by the on screen menu. I've got it set to 12.1v.
