2014 BMW 1 series drive mode question

Hello f20 addicts,

I was wondering if there is a way to have the drive mode rocker to remember its last position, and if so if there is a code that I should be looking into.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately No - not that I know of anyway.
It is annoying to have to keep selecting Sport on mine every time I start up.
Perhaps BMW should lean from Mercedes.
In a C class, (I think it is the same for A) whatever selected mode you choose it stays there (until you change it).

I know right? Unfortunate that it took coding to make it remember ASS setting, I'm betting it will take coding to make it remember drive mode as well, though I could be wrong. BMW should look at alfa romeo, in the giulietta both buttons remember where you set them, even across engine restarts.

Garage List
No sign of such a feature in the F10/F11 'cheatsheet' .... being F series means that a good many things are common ... but ....

Probably a sensible idea to drive mildly in comfort mode until at proper operating temperature anyway.
