Supply BMW your own plates?

I've just ordered myself a set of German plates for my new car- has anyone ever provided their own plates to the dealer to fit?

I still owe the dealer £100, and i'm wondering if they will discount £25 from that if i provide my own plates (The invoice says they have charged me £25 for the registration plates).

These are the plates i've ordered

Hi iBeech, Unfortunately those plates are made up in an illegal font and the dealer will not fit them as they would be commiting an offense under construction and use regulations.

Yes unfortunately there is only 1 style of legal font which is allowed to be used on a number plate although it can be used in a 3d style. Plate manufacturers will sell you any plate in any font as you like but the minute you place it onto your vehicle you are commiting an offence. You are not allowed italics and the like, the only style is the "Charles Wright " Font.
