Why doesn't BMW use blue tinted mirror glass anymore?

Just curious why they did away with this particular glass. I remember having Hamman M3 mirrors on my E46 325CI and loved them. Since then no more blue tinted side mirrors from BMW... Asking because I saw an E46 M3 today next to me and I instantly remembered those side mirrors.
