BMW X5 diesel updates?
Scotty26,
Can you expand on your post regarding the possible x5 40d? Is this for the USA market also or elsewhere only for now? I just placed an order for a 35d and would much rather wait for an update if it is imminent in the USA. Thanks |

Not for US consumption. 35d will remain.

The European Press launch and first drives of the F10 commence in February.
The World Premiere at an Autoshow will be Geneva in March. Crucially the 5er will debut in the European market on March 20th. The North Amercian premiere of the new 5er will be at New York in April. Press launch and drives in the US will coincide after. US market introduction is June 2010. The X5 xDrive 4.0d will not be available in the US. |

I will be interesting to see how this project matures, might give a hint on BMW's thinking for the future M3. |

I also think the car will be offered with an optional adaptive suspension setup similar to that of the M3. As I said, I think you will possibly get some idea of what BMW have planned for the F30 M3 with this little car. P.S. See how easy it is to do a typo. |

I get your point, but it's no typo. I was talking about the e-diff found in the E82 135i.
