Might worth considering AC Schnitzer running box too. The advantage of it is the added torque and power across RPM range. The price is high but has its reasons

I also like to tune my 116i AT! I'm considering the AC Schnitzer because of the warranty and the brand status. The reason didn't do it yet is because of the fuel. In Holland it's getting harder and harder to get 98 at the gasstation. The places where you can find is at the highway, but they have a mega price gap on local pomps.
On the track "circuit Zandvoort" I didn't really need extra power. But on the street i'd like a bit more torque, so it would stay longer in higher gears when just push is a bit more. To be continued! |

In Holland there are several tuners, or go to belgium, DVX and BR Performance are doing nice tunes on the N13 at the moment. Even on the 114i I've seend good numbers (230 hp out of the 114i, Edje did that to his showcar).
There is actually NO difference in engine hardware across the 1 series, 114i-118i all the same (Mini cooper S) engine. |
