125i BMW M Performance Power Kit
Hi all,
Not sure if anyone knows any further info on the M Power Kit for 125i. Just stumbled across this on the BMW website http://accessories.bmw.com/internet_...&absoluteNav=1 I personally can't wait until this is released Last edited by jwozz; 04-05-2013 at 01:26 AM.. Reason: Submitted prematurely |

Strange. They don't say anything about increase in power, torque, efficiency, acceleration, etc, but they say that the top speed is increased to 250 km/h (from 245, or 243 with auto). I don't think too many care about that...

Can't wait for the exact details. Hopefully they really use the potential of the N20 instead of just giving a slight power bump.
One thing: I have the Standard 125i, would this modification also give me the sport+ mode? |

Its probably gonna have 20hp more than the standard model, which is enough, but I just hope it will sound better, combined with the power kit and M performance exhaust. Really considering to buy a 125i or even a 225i in the next year.

This is brand new in the list of M performance options.
I check the list myself on a regular basis (like monthly) and last time, it was not on the list. (well it was for Diesel, but not for Petrol engine) Indeed not much info given with the product |

But when you press that button, the car will unfortunately go back to Comfort mode automagically.

So this would irritate me more if my car didn't have sport+! Although must be said I've never driven a car with the traction control turned off. |

I reckon they'll take it up to the power level of the 328i engine. As a diesel driver, I'm disappointed that they haven't announced a Performance Power kit for the 125d though

Just got the specs from the dealership.
There are two kits (both do the same power). One is just the FSC code and the other gives grills and air intakes plus some stickers. The power increase is 15kw and costs 2400+GST for the FSC code only. Begs the question, where can we you get the FSC code (like the NAV coders do) and can we put in the 28i line software as the starting point |

I wouldn't really take this as official to be honest. I've found Aussie dealers to be clueless on a few things... One of them had my father-in-law convinced that the 1M was going to be available as an auto
