Tyre mobility kit - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

What do people think of the tyre mobility kit? Or do people carry a spare wheel/jack if possible?

Going to get it this week as I am taking winter tyres non run flat. There is no room for a spare tyre unless you want to sacrifice your bootspace...

I carry a jack, compressor, torque wrench and a tyre plugging kit. I don't like the thought of filling tyres/wheels with goo.

I have the ED model so I have non run flats all the time. I was thinking of getting a spare steel wheel. I don't like the idea of putting that stuff in the tyre and having to leave my car at the tyre place for them to repair puncture or replace the tyre. I can imagine they won't be too happy cleaning the alloy either.
