Over 4 months wait but finally pick it up Thursday
Well the dealer phoned us at the weekend and my wife's new 116i will be available to pick up on Thursday.
We were supposed to have it for mid September but delays on the autobox and then alloy wheels have meant a much longer wait. Full specs are... F20 116i SE Automatic gearbox, Alpine White Sports Seats Lumber adjustment Driver Comfort pack, cruise control, servotronic and front and rear pdc. Business Speakers Sports Steering Wheel Auto lights and wipers. I'll be using it often too so looking forward to taking it for a spin. We could have had a sport for similar money but my wife felt the lower profile runflats hurt the ride too much. Cheers Lee |

It's ended up being 11 weeks late on the original date.
We were told week 36 at the time of order, some time later this went to week 44 then week 52. At that point we said we would cancel and the dealer said to give him a week. We were then given week 48 and it's been sat at that for two months. We pick it up on the Thursday of week 47. Cheers Lee |

Nice!
LOL your car is exactly the same spec as mine! Only difference is I got the Manual Transmission! What wheels did you get?

These were the only wheels without runflats and my wife found the ride too firm with 17" alloys and runflats. Cheers Lee |

19" wheels should be fine for the road conditions in Sydney but unfortunately most of the UK's B road network is poorly surfaced and riddled with pot holes and poor quality repairs.

19" will give a harder ride and may not give you better handling as the(rolling diameter rim + tyre) may cause the car to ride higher and thus shift the centre of gravity. The F20 suspension is designed for 17" (rolling diameter rim + tyre) in the sport and urban and 18" (rolling diameter rim + tyre) in the M Sport. You may have to have the full suspension modifyied to gain any advantage apart from the look. |

Trust me, it's all for the looks haha but maybe it won't be that effected since there are the optional 19" ones
