Anyone have issues with the manual gearbox popping out of gear? - BMW 1-Series Forum (F20) 135i

I accelerated hard onto a large roundabout today and changed into second gear. I accelerated and after a second or so there was a large thud and the gearbox popped into neutral.

The gearbox didn't feel right after re-engaging the gear but seems to have freed up since.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have a 125d 6-Speed.

I think this is not F20 related issue, but a gearbox problem.

You should go service or call your dealer asap my friend.
