The driver is fine, just a bit bruised up from what the CHiP told me, he actually saw the car at a carwash about 11miles north just before this.

Apparently he was ping ponging between a few cars before coming to a stop on this bit of freeway under construction. My hypothetical is: driving through our brand new tunnel at a high rate of speed and as he exited the tunnel into some new esses he probably encountered slow traffic and didn't have time to react.

Here's his carpool buddy...

Wow - that's ridiculous. The car can be replaced; the owner should go to an HPDE/control class once he gets a new one.
