Do you have the same problem?

The radio reception (FM) in my F20/118dA is nothing but a scandal!
I have owned lots of cars and NO ONE has come close to the lousy quality of my new (02/2012) F20. According to my dealer it has the latest firmware. |

The reception on mine seems a bit weak aswell listening to FM radio, not THAT bad but have noticed some scratching/noise poor sound-quality listening to talk-shows... even in areas I know have great signal where I have never had problems with reception on other cars.
Radio sux most of the time though, rather listen to my mp3's |

I'd say I have the same issue too.
As the nature of the radio signal reception mandates, it is not an ON/OFF problem. it has no symptoms where/when signal is high. (in the city) But when you go away from signal source (where my work happens to be) it starts parasite sounds as the signal power drops. Weather conditions also play a minor role too. But as a comparison, I got wife's Merc for a few days and it had no reception problems on way to work. But man, the way it goes when you kick the pedal ! And then there are MP3s, CDs |
