I agree with that, and see that stretched tyres are very popular among the
young crowd. I have a set of 8x17" wheels for the F20 with 205-tyres, but
I haven't really noticed any problems with it, except for the silly looks.
My 7.5x17" wheels with 225-tyres look a lot better. The handling and ride is
rather similar. I guess 205 on 8" is not enough stretch to cause cr@p.
The youngsters are running 175 tyres on 9" wheels. Surely cr@p.
