IMSA has handed out Balance of Performance adjustments to cars in the GT Le Mans and GT Daytona categories ahead of next weekend’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

In GTLM, the newly re-badged Dodge Viper GTS-R has received a 15 kg weight break and 0.3 mm larger air restrictor for the third round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.

No other changes have been made to the class.

GTD, however, sees a number of adjustments, mainly with weight and fuel capacity changes.

The Porsche 911 GT America receives a 15 kg weight break and 3 liter increase in fuel capacity, while both the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 and Dodge Viper GT3-R each gain 10 kgs of weight, with the Viper now also running a 6500 rpm limiter.

The Audi R8 LMS gains 20 kg, while losing 2 liters of fuel capacity and the BMW Z4 GT3 gains 25 kg but is given 3 additional liters of fuel.

The only GTD car unchanged is the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, which received adjustments prior to the most recent round in Detroit.

No adjustments, meanwhile, have been published for the Prototype category. Any potential changes, per the IMSA rulebook, must be finalized by Friday night, in order for it to take effect for the upcoming Watkins Glen round.
