Response from UK dealer
I have my order in for an M135i and was also excited by these upgrades. I placed the order on April 19th so expected to be on the borderline for the upgrades, and heard the following response from the dealer
"
I have heard back from the product team and they have confirmed that both items have not been confirmed for the UK market.
The they think that the sail function will not come due to UK legislation and the launch control may eventually come but there is no conformation to date.
"
Which is obviously different to what others have heard, and I know the Passat comes with coasting function already in the UK, so its strange that legislation would stop BMW...
