I have the same setup as 1SolidF20 383 wheels with summer tyres 225/45/R17 front and 245/40/R17 rear. I want to put on runflat winter tyres - can I go with 225/45/R17 tyres on the rear? I think the rims are 7.5Jx17 front and 8Jx17 rear. Any issues with the winter tyre being narrower on the rear rim?
Any suggestions on the tyres - I have a choice of Michelin Alpin 5 ZP, Conti WinterContact 830P SSR and Dunlop WinterSport 4D ROF, all same price. Any opinions will be helpful.
