I took my F20 (with xenon front lights) from Spain to the UK last summer.
I searched the manual and there's a way to that by yourself. I think you have to deal with a couple of screws on top of the lamps black casing, inside the boot. Check the manual, you'll find it there.
I didn't touch mine as I went there in summertime and never used the car at night.
