Hi All
I've been lurking for a while, I'm really impressed with the forum, but first time poster. I've got a question I hope some of you can help me with.
I recently picked up my pre-facelift 2015 116d, I bought used with 5k on the clock. I'm really pleased with it, it's my first BMW and I love it!
While washing it (I've always taken pretty good care of my cars washing/detailing wise) I noticed a small rough patch of paintwork in front of both rear wheel arches, quite low down. There's nothing visible there, and I was debating just claying to see if that smoothed it out. I checked with the main dealer though, and they said (via email) that it was a protective film in front of each wheel arch to stop stone chips... Does anyone else's F20 have this? Is it standard? Or was he just telling me BS because he doesn't want to have to do any thing about it?
Any help or assistance would be great!
Thanks
