I ran my 335i before I got my M3 there (the very same track) and it only Dyno'd 430 horsepower and trapped 93 mph while getting off the gas completely twice during the run and hit an 8.3. with 707 horsepower I feel that's extremely weak. It's an eighth mile run... throwing more horsepower at a car that already has issues applying torque from a dig isn't going to make a big difference. The Hellcat won't have enough time to stretch its legs and actually use its power to any useful effect.

Using that as some kind of means to evaluate engine output is ridiculous. The thing is a porker and under-rubbered. Its mediocre launching numbers are not a sign of overrated power specs.
