I'd assume they make more money per same job. Also, get free higher education, and (perhaps) cheaper medical.
p.s. I've learned over time that companies price their product not by just Cost of Production + Overhead + Margin. Instead they say, our cost + overhead + margin + if any money left in our potential consumer pocket after paying their bills.
