I enjoy engine braking a lot as well, and that's part of the reason for why I went with the 120d instead of the 118i. With the 120d I get the paddles behind the wheel that let me quickly shift down a few gears while in drive. Well, I don't have the car yet, so I haven't actually tried it, but it
should work that way...
