Maybe so... It's a shame, but for normal driving, I feel it's better to have an engine with good torque in low revs, than an engine you'll have to chase to the red mark to get a respectable acceleration.

Just wondered - i know it's not comparable, but interesting to see what the 1 series with larger engines costs outside Norway
