I seriously doubt you will get same mpg driving calmly in Sport as in Eco Pro...you must not have noticed the difference in rpm in those two modes.
JordW sums up what Eco Pro really is, its just there to encourage you to drive calmer. No one is saying its a magic button that saves you a lot of fuel in some magic way. Driving style is everything.
